a Dreamy Treetop Retreat
Hold your Horses is a modern luxury cabin nestled high in the treetops with forest views from every window. Whether you’re visiting with friends or family, this 2,300 sqft, 2-story open floor plan cabin is the perfect place for a memorable getaway! Our heavily-treed, 1.3 acre lot offers beautiful views of nature and privacy.
HYH sleeps up to 12 people, with three king master suites (including en-suite baths), as well as a large game room with 6 twin bunk beds and its own full bath for the kids. Our master bathroom includes a luxurious, glass-enclosed shower and separate soaking tub, while the other two king bathrooms offer large, walk-in showers. The game/bunk room is perfect for young children, featuring a shower/bathtub combo.
In addition to human guests, HYH is pet-friendly for (up to 2) furry friends up to 25 pounds (for an additional fee). We provide dog bowls and a crate to help make packing easier for these important members of your family!
Our living room, bedrooms, and game room are all equipped with smart TVs with access to Netflix, Hulu + Live TV, Disney+, and ESPN+ (includes live TV, sports, etc.) free of charge for our guests. Wi-fi access is also provided and is complimentary.
HYH features an open-concept living area, which is bathed in light and forest views from our 25-foot ceilings and large, wraparound windows. Your guests will love relaxing on our luxurious, custom deep-seat leather sofas while watching the big game on our 55-inch television, enjoying the warm glow from the impressive stone fireplace, or simply gazing out into the pines.
You’ll enjoy cooking and entertaining in our fully-equipped kitchen, which is perfect for enjoying a coffee, cocktail, or casual meal at the 4-person, granite waterfall island, or for a sit-down meal (or board game!) at our 8-person dining table. When it’s time to prepare that special meal, you’ll find a fully-stocked kitchen, including pots, pans, dishes/glasses, etc. We also provide coffee, creamer, sugar, and salt/pepper for your convenience.
HYH offers entertainment options for kids and adults, both indoors and outdoors! The game room includes a 7-ft pool table, a two-person arcade game with 60 of the best classic games, a 42-inch TV, as well as games, books, and puzzles to keep all guests entertained!
Outdoors, you can enjoy endless games of corn hole, horseshoes, or ladder golf, while watching the younger kids play, swing, climb and slide on our outdoor playset! You’ll also love taking a hike through our neighborhood, where you’ll find beautiful views and even a pond down the street, where you can drop a line in the water and try your hand at fishing.
If relaxing is more your style, you can enjoy the hot tub and outdoor seating area, while listening to nature and watching the warm glow from our outdoor gas fireplace.
And when the sun goes down, it’s time to gather around the fire pit roasting marshmallows and gazing up at the stars! We offer complimentary firewood year-round for our guests as an added amenity (don’t forget the marshmallows!).
In addition to outdoor entertainment options, you can prepare and enjoy a nice meal on our spacious, covered patio, which includes a propane grill (propane included), as well as a large outdoor dining table that seats 8 guests.
Whatever you decide to do - you won’t be disappointed! There is something for everyone at Hold your Horses and Hochatown offers activities such as hiking, fishing, and restaurants.

Fall family fellowship!
We met our kids (18-24 years) and a few of their friends for a long weekend and it was amazing. Plenty of space to hang out, play games, unplug, and just enjoy time together!! We could not get together this summer so decided on fall…kids came from Tulsa. DFW, and Stillwater. Great family meals, games around the table, s’mores at the fire pit, and great beds for rest after a long day of play!! Home was perfect!

AWESOME WEEKEND IN BROKEN BOW
This property was beautiful and located in a great area, we had incredible storms come through and got to enjoy the heavy rain, thunder and lightning while sitting on the covered back porch and in the hot tub. Comfortably slept 12 and we will Definitely be back!

MOMS WEEKEND AWAY
We could not have asked for a better stay! The house has the most beautiful views and was well taken care of and clean. The beds were comfortable, bathroom had plenty of towels and kitchen is more than well stocked. We took 8 moms who needed a weekend to recharge their batteries and we left with our spirits filled! Ashley and Ryan thought of every minor detail, were extremely responsive and kind we couldn't have asked for a better stay!

PERFECT!
A quick get away from Fort Worth with my 25 year old son. I have been trying to think of "anything" that wasn't perfect, but I can't! I thought, well...it rained all weekend so that wasn't perfect - but it was!...it forced us to spend most of our time at "Hold Your Horses". Cooking out under the covered deck, fireplace (inside and out), watching movies, shooting pool, hot tub (under the covered deck), talking (what a concept), and enjoying 2 of the best nights rest I can remember - because the beds are some comfortable. Overall just a great place - "in" a great place!
A big thank you to Ashley and Ryan - you have created the "real deal"....We will be back!

One of the very best airbnb experiences!
This was by far one of the very best Airbnb experiences we have ever had! The photos of this house do not do it justice! It is stunning! These hosts thought of absolutely EVERYTHING!! Anything we needed, it was there! It was exceptionally clean and spacious. Lots of games- both inside and outside. Hot tub is huge! Bedrooms and bathrooms are big with comfortable beds and plenty of clean linen. This trip was a quick, relaxing getaway for us and it exceeded our expectations. You can enjoy an entire weekend here without leaving the house.
Great communication from the host! We will absolutely be staying here again. We have no negative feedback! Perfection! Thank you Ryan & Ashley!

Best find in broken bow
Hold Your Horses cabin was absolutely the best find my wife and I ever discovered in Broken Bow. The set up was perfect and the location was private. We brought our 3 daughters and their husbands along with their kiddos. So many family memories to add to our album! The grounds and cabin are so spacious with lots of amenities. Very well decorated and still lots of space for all of our things. I can’t express enough how important that is to us. The host, Ryan was quick to respond to any questions we had. Truly a 5 star experience! We will definitely be staying here again!

Fabulous stay!
We absolutely loved this property! We had two couples and 4 children total. The couples took two of the rooms, the two teen aged girls took the third bedroom and the two younger boys enjoyed taking their pick of bunks :) The house is to die for! Very spacious, had everything we needed, comfy beds, hot tub, outdoor fireplace, etc.. I was most impressed on one particular day we all came in from the lake and turned on all four showers - we never lost hot water! I've stayed in rentals before, and this can be a problem with large groups. The hot water heater was plentiful for all of us to have nice long/hot showers :) Looking forward to coming back again!

Hold Your Horses is a dream!
We can’t wait to go back to Hold Your Horses! It’s a beautiful cabin in a great location. We had everything we needed for a perfect week. We ate all of our meals in and the kitchen was well stocked with any items we needed. We were really well entertained by the table arcade game and pool table, along with adventuring in the trees! The kids loved the bunk beds and the adults loved their cozy rooms! I would happily re-pack up all of our stuff and go back tomorrow!!

Extended Family Getaway
Our group included 6 adults and 5 kids. We appreciated the unique layout of the cabin that gave lots of common room and privacy. Each adult couple had their own king sized bedroom with private bathroom. The grandparents enjoyed the upstairs bedroom away from the kids area and the incredibly awesome bathroom attached to that room. The kids enjoyed the game room/bunk room that included cool tri-level bunks and their own bathroom. We spent lots of time in the outdoor areas of the cabin. Our group enjoyed the hot tub, playground, and lots of the outdoor games. We cooked all our meals at the cabin and it had everything we needed and plenty of room For everyone to sit down and eat. We all had a great time and appreciated how quick Susie answered all our questions.

Oklahoma beauty
We loved the motion sensing lights on the front stairs, leading to the front door... stepping in to the foyer of beautiful wood planked walls, a vaulted wood ceiling that caps the wall of windows, the serenity of tall trees in a forest surrounds you! Absolutely beautiful! The covered deck off the back, with its stone fireplace and hot tub, entices you to stay outside. The rain couldn’t even stop the fun, there are games and a pool table in the bunk room, and we even finished the 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle provided by the owners!
There was plenty of room for our group to cook and eat, which inspired much laughter about too many calories.
Three king bed suites were amazingly comfortable. Each with a full bath and aTV, well appointed and beautifully decorated in swanky ranch style.
Loved every minute of our long weekend, thank you so much to Hold Your Horses!
